While the menu features a range of dishes, their mussels have garnered particular acclaim for their generous portions and exquisite flavor. A few customers noted the delightful essence of the calamari and the uniquely satisfying fish and chips, which one reviewer called the best they’ve ever had. Yet, it’s worth keeping in mind that not every dish receives consistent praise. Some have suggested that while certain offerings are substantial and delicious, others, like the squid dish, could benefit from a touch more warmth and creativity in presentation.
Beyond the culinary highlights, the restaurant itself is a haven for those looking to enjoy a sunset drink paired with great tunes. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of exploring the picturesque coastline of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The kitchen remains open later than many nearby eateries, ensuring that your cravings can be satisfied well into the evening.
In terms of amenities, a small consideration is that while the restaurant lacks its own toilet facilities, clearing this tiny hurdle rewards you with one of the most picturesque locales in the area. Imagine dining against a backdrop of dramatic ocean waves as the sky transforms into a canvas of colors during sunset.
In conclusion, Le Miam is a must-visit for anyone in the vicinity, offering a blend of scenic beauty, warm hospitality, and a menu that caters to diverse taste buds. “ Stunning views down to the ocean, staff was eager to accommodate anything we needed. We asked for the soccer game to be put on and out came the tv just for us! Muscles here were also super delicious! We came here many times in our week stay in a near by campground. Great place. ”
“ Great place! I had mussels .. his kitchen was already closed but he still made it for me and very nice view ... My dog loved it too :)) ”
“ OK food. Moules were pretty big (and large serving), squid dish wasn’t hot enough and accoutrements looked like they came from a can, burrata salad was pretty good. The view is spectacular and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would suggest here for a snack but eat meals elsewhere! There’s a toilet just up the hill, but it’s a bit out of the way, quite uphill, and has no toilet paper/ soap/ etc. The restaurant doesn’t have its own toilet. ”
“ Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The calamari is a must! Staff polite, friendly and chilled. Not to busy and plenty of room. ”
“ Great food in a beautiful setting. Service was very friendly. The kitchen stays open until later than other places nearby ”
“ Good views, Good tunes. Great place for a sunset drink. Food looked good. ”
